The 6th Annual Child Care Professional Development Conference, "Imagine A Day" will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 on the SLCC-South City Campus. The keynote speaker will be "Mr. Gordon" from Sesame Street! Registration booklets will be mailed out in August.

- Free referrals to and information about child care programs, tailored to meet families' specific child care needs
- Free information on how to choose quality child care, given over-the-phone, through-the-mail and on-line
- Free child care data and contact information to programs that support families
Services for Providers
- Start-up support, including grants, for new child care providers
- Free listings on our referral database
- Low- or no-cost training to instruct and encourage providers and center staff in offering quality child care
- Unlimited access to curriculum lending library and children's books
- Free quarterly newsletter featuring upcoming training, grant opportunities, and activities for children
Services for Community and Business Partners
- Useful data about child care services in local areas
- Collaboration with a variety of agencies interested in family and child care issues, including a yearly early childhood conference
- Employer presentations on work-life policies, including ways to support employees with their child care needs, as well as brown-bag seminars for employees on a variety of topics.
