Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
CHIP is a state health insurance plan for children. Many working Utah families who don’t have other health insurance qualify for CHIP. Children qualify for CHIP based on income and family size.

This reference website is for parents of children who attend child care programs. There are over 30 topics to help you find answers to your health and safety questions.

Helping Children Cope with Natural Disasters 
This website contains 14 links to resources for parents, caregivers and teachers to help children make sense of what is happening during a crisis situation.

Utah Cares
Utah Cares is a free, confidential tool that helps people find state and community services. It can connect you with providers who offer basic services, such as housing, food, financial assistance, etc.

Utah Clicks
Utah Clicks helps families find and apply for state programs and services. You can now fill out and complete applications for a variety of Utah programs such as Medicaid, Baby Your Baby, Baby Watch and Head Start.


The Payment-to-Parent Assisted Child Care Program assists income-eligible families in obtaining child care so they can work and/or gain education that leads to employment. Parents are responsible to pay their child care providers for any costs above their child care payment. Providers may lease a point-of-sale Electronic Benefit Transfer machine in order to accept payments with a Utah Horizon Card.
